ARAMBAM BOBY: Three consecutive times World champion in Body Building

Kangleipak - Manipur has been producing a number of Regional, National, International, Asian and World champions in the field of Body Building. Manipur is not only famous for having produced world class Boxers, but also famous for producing a number of champions in the field of Body Building. The wide recognition of Manipur in the field of Body Building started growing up when Mr. Maipak became the first Kangleicha / Manipuri to win the Mr. India title. After the success of Mr. Maipak, there was no stopage of the success of Manipuri body builders.

In the history of Body Building of Manipur, there is a man who has further taken the success to another level. This man is the first Kangleicha / Manipuri to become World champion in Body Building. This man has won World Body Building championship three times in a row.!!! He is also an Asian champion. Recently, he won Runners Up title at the 5th World Body Building Championship 2013, Hungary. If he won that tilte, he could have been four times World champion in a row!!!!!!!!!

Besides the above achievements, he participated at the  9th Mister South Asian Body Building Championship 2012, Ludhiana and a Gold medal.
He won Gold medal at the World Body Building Championship 2012, Bangkok, Thailand. In this world championship, besides him, the body builders Khundrakpam Pradip and Yumnam Mamota (in women section) of Manipur won Bronze medals and Kongbrailatpam Rebita (in women section) won 5th position. Yumnam Mamota is the wife of Borun Yumnam, another Body Building champion.
He won Gold medal at the 47th Asia Body Building Championship 2013, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. In this championship, Body Builders Wahengbam Kiran and Yumnam Mamota also won Bronze medals.
The latest championship is he won Silver medal at the 5th World Body Building Championship 2013 (Nov 13 - 17), Hungary. Besides him, current Asian Championship Bronze medalist Wahengbam Kiran won Bronze medal.
